Fighting to keep families together!

Hello, my name is Deja Fuimaono and I am here for you! For over ten years I have been solely dedicated to the area of mental health and family services. I currently practice as a mental health therapist at a psychiatric inpatient facility as well as an intensive outpatient facility. I have worked, volunteered, mentored, and practiced as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for abused children, specialist for victims of sex trafficking, homeless outreach worker, case manager for the African Refugee Center and provider for a foster care agency. With this experience, I have learned to assist clients during their hardships and I have assisted many on their journey to improve their emotional, social, and behavioral stability.

In treating clients, I like to take an eclectic approach utilizing various treatment modalities and theories to assist clients in navigating their challenges. I strongly believe in Psychodynamic Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy along with mindfulness strategies. Overall, I like to meet my clients where they are utilizing treatment modalities that are suitable for each individual.
